Dear customers, 

Since October/2017 Brazil customs legislation rule was changed and freight charge is required to clearance process.

Customs determined this week that all shipments to BR without freight charge declared will be returned to origin.

It is important to also highlight that this is a BR Customs decision and TNT in BR is not able to stop the RO process if the shipment arrives without freight charge.

Aside from this requirement, I would like to remind that Receiver’s VAT number must be declared on TNT Airwaybill and Shipping Invoice, too.
